The TahitiPetey Foundation, with the support of its StarFish members and exclusive Expedition Sponsors will set out in late 2010 from the Island of Maui, Hawaii, on an extended eco-sailing adventure called the TahitiPetey South Pacific Expedition.
We will set out to discover first hand how Climate Change, rising sea levels and ocean plastic pollution are impacting the Islands of Hawaii and those within French Polynesia in the South Pacific, and the people who live there.
The sailing yacht will serve as a floating production set for an exclusive web-based series hosted by Petey, who will host the series. He will bring the issues to you right from the front lines, or beaches, and share a different shade of tropical blue during each episode, as he meets with the locals.
On board Web cam access and special features will be available to our paying members, who also help support this expedition.
