Program Overview

In what some are saying is perhaps the most innovative new travel rewards program created in the past 20 years, Petey developed the SandDollar$ Membership Loyalty Program exclusively for our members use. To understand how this concept came to be, let's first go back several years, to May 2001 while Petey and his wife, Corrin, where on holiday.
After 14 days onboard their 40 foot sailboat in the British Virgin Islands, they decided to visit a very popular five-star beach resort in the Caribbean for a few days on there way home. At over $900 a night, with food, one has certain expectations and one of those is that the beach bar stay open past sunset. However, while on the beach their first night there, sipping champagne and watching the sun set, the bar was suddenly being shutting down an hour before sunset.
Petey, wasted no time asking why, and after a 30 minute session of Bartender Blues, it was explained that the resort was less than 50% occupied and therefore the staff hours had been cut. The bartender was not to happy about this fact, but that was the wrong answer to give Petey!
The next morning Petey met with the hotel manager to discuss this matter further, and at first he could care less about his guests concerns. The manager quickly stated the room rates took all that into account, being they were in the off season, but again that was not what Petey wanted to hear. So he challenged the manager and asked a simple question - If he could deliver 50 guests here right now, could the manager give him (Petey) the rooms for free, to fill up the place and keep things open.
At first the manager did not appreciate the question, but after almost an hour Petey had convinced the manager that giving him the rooms for free made sense, and fished out of him that he could in fact offer them to him for free if he had the guests. A completely new business opportunity was born that day in May 2001 known initially as the TahitiPetey Travel Club and over the years it transformed into our SandDollar$ membership loyalty program.
So without giving away our secret methods, let us simply say that resorts, timeshares, major hotel chains, cruise lines and car rental agencies will provide us with travel assets in exchange for customers, you, and access to stream video ads of their properties or products to our members, who watch and earn SandDollar$ for doing so, and then can exchange them for the assets we receive from the Travel Partner. It's that simple!
Any size resort can participate, but lets say one of the major hotel chains wants into our program, and several have already indicated they do. Brand X Resorts has 500 destination resorts worldwide, so they provide us with 1,000 room nights to join our program, plus give us one room night/rental day for every 250 active StarFish members each month. In exchange, we stream a new video ad featuring one of their resorts each week, and pay you, our member, in SandDollar$ to watch them. Get the picture?
Timeshare resorts will work the same way, provided our members are never required to attend a sales pitch. If you want to go and get whatever they offer you once there, that's your business, but our members will not be required to attend any sales pitch for exchanging into these resorts. Cruise lines will provide targeted cruises in exchange for video streaming of ads, and car rental companies will provide rental days.
SandDollar$ will never have any cash value, nor can they be used for merchandise in our online PeteyStore. The whole program is based on earning them for vacation value only to offset those costs, as compensation for helping us spread our ocean awareness and entrepreneurial messages.
We do have a couple of unique things up our sleeve too, but we'll save them for later. We hope to launch this program in early January 2010. In the meantime all members earn 100,000 SandDollar$ for each calendar month they are active members, regardless of level, until we go live with this program.
