Earning SandDollar$

Although this section is still being developed, and we hope to have our program online and active by late January 2010, here is the overall concept. We want you to become more aware of the ocean and entrepreneurial issues and to accomplish this, we want you to watch online videos, read articles, blogs and get interactive with other elements on our site. We will pay you in SandDollar$ (SD$), our social currency for doing so, and you can earn as many as your time allows as either a free or paying StarFish member. Those who sign up in 2009, will receive bonus SandDollar$.

We call this our SandDollar$ Stimulus Program, modeled after the U.S. bail out programs, where we simple print as much otherwise worthless currency as we need. Only in our StarFish Economy, we give it to you, not the bankers, wall street fraudsters or corporations who wasted their investors money by making bad decisions, while enriching themselves. Our goal is to provide you with travel value and unique benefits not available elsewhere, while filling up the unused travel assets of our Travel Partners that are left empty by a weakened global economy.

So, if you joined us in 2009, you'll get an extra 150,000 bonus SD$ for each calender month you were a member and our program is offline. This is our way to offset the the lack of having our earning opportunities fully online and ready, although most earning features will be online by January 1st, so hang in there. The key is to start sending people our blog pages, by sharing them with your friends using the widgets we have built into our site to build your member/customer base.

Okay, so we have three main categories for earnings, based on your active membership level at the time you take action, like watching a video. Free members as an example will earn 100 SD$ for each Video they watch, while our paying FoundersClub StarFish members ($25 monthly) will earn 350SD$ for each video watched, and our Diamond ReefShark Entrepreneur members ($50 monthly) will earn 500 SD$ for every video watched. If you refer members to the club, you will earn 50, 100 and 200 SD$ per member each month for as long as they stay active. We are building a chart to show all this and it will be online soon.

You can see, however, the earning opportunities increase with the level of membership, as they should, in that our paying members help pay for our programs and projects, and the travel values through their monthly fees. As a result, they will accrue SandDollar$ faster and have access to more travel lodging values, longer cruises and our car rentals (for paying members only).
